If you think you’ve heard this line before, your right. As Ace points out, it’s the standard Obama line and the standard Democratic line, and it’s been so for 30 years running. It’s their standard excuse – any disapproval of their policies, and the disastrous results thereof, is actually due to confusion on the part of the public. However, as Ace also points out, Obama takes that to the next level.
And then there’s this asinine accusation – it’s all the Republican’s fault – they’re putting politics ahead of country:
Never mind the fact that Obama had a Democrat-controlled White House, Senate, and House of Representatives for two-thirds of his presidency – and accomplished little more than ramping up spending to 100% of GDP with a trillion dollar stimulus, adding thousands of job-killing regulations, bank bailouts, auto bailouts, insane expansion of government, and a highly unpopular 2 trillion dollar job-killing healthcare bill. Add to this the fact an irresponsible Democrat-controlled Senate has failed to pass a budget during the entire Obama presidency.
