Upcoming Global Summit Can Help All of Us

On September 19 and 20, 2011, world leaders will gather at the United Nations to create an action plan for non-communicable diseases like diabetes. The last and only previous summit was focused on HIV/AIDS and was followed by an outpouring of resources and action to halt the epidemic.
Now it’s our turn. I was going to write a list of action steps, but Manny Hernandez has aimed higher and created a seven step program to make it happen. Click over and invest 10 minutes in the future health of people with diabetes around the globe.
