Hearing from the always insightful, always refreshing, Marco Rubio

Leaving behind the vitriolic nonsense we hear from the Left, take a few minutes to listen to an eloquent speaker and a true patriot, with a genuinely sincere love for his country – Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fl) … who is likely to someday be a candidate for the presidency of the United States:

As a commenter at the YouTube posting points out, in some ways Senator Rubio’s rhetorical skill reminds one of Obama during his campaign, with a couple of key differences: Marco Rubio believes in the “exceptionalism and greatness of America” and believes in the free market and capitalism, whereas Obama thinks that America is just another country, lacks fairness, needs “social justice” and wealth-redistribution. That’s indeed an ocean of difference between the two men.

And notice that Rubio doesn’t need a Teleprompter. He’s speaking from his heart and his words are his own – not those of his speechwriters.

Hat tip – Phineas at Sister Toldjah (… who aptly notes that Rubio has a sense of history, both of the nation and of the institution in which he serves, and he honors those histories, feeling a sense of responsibility toward them. This is a senator who realizes his job is a temporary trust, not a lifetime entitlement. And that is all too rare.)
